CUSTOM RS07 Access Controller

The CUSTOM RS07 access controller provides local connection for card readers and other associated door elements. As OEM hardware the CUSTOM RS07 board is ideal for developers to integrate into their own access control system and can be mounted into Grosvenor Technology’s purpose made enclosure/PSU or other enclosure of their choosing.

Switch selectable reader types offer barcode, magnetic stripe, proximity, biometric, and smartcard technologies, and individual communication modules provide serial or TCP/IP connectivity plus a wide range of power options including DC over CAT5 and PoE.

The CUSTOM RS07 utilises the same communications protocol as the RS09 and RS21 data collection terminals, presenting additional and wider opportunities for integration with shop floor data collection and time & attendance on the same application software.

The CUSTOM RS07 operates in different modes;

• Stand alone making access decisions based upon a pre-loaded dataset
• Networked environment referring access attempts to a host application or system.

Both modes can be supported at the same time where the controller can make local decisions if the host application is not available.
